Ginger root (gan jiang) is obtained from the rhizome of Zingiber officinale, a tropical plant native to Asia.
Fresh or dried, ginger root is used as a spice and food preservative in Indian, Japanese and Chinese cuisines. The dried root is used to make teas, tinctures and infused oils.
Instructions:
Steep in 8oz of hot water use 3g of ginger in your tea or Steep alone for 3-5min.
Each bag contains 1oz which has 9-10 servings in it.
