This original herbal blend brings together the familiar spices associated with chai masala in a context all their own! With a permeating warmth in every cup, Decaf Chai Masala celebrates a variety of different tastes that cooperate and commingle in the infusion: the sweet cinnamon, the fruity cardamom, the biting ginger, and the spicy black pepper. This delicious flavor parade is equally wonderful over ice as it is piping hot!
Ingredients cinnamon chips, decorticated cardamom, ginger, black pepper (cracked)
Caffeine free.
temp 212°F - boiling
time 3-5 minutes
amount 1-2 tbsp per 8 oz
Consider decocting this blend traditionally: Simmer this chai spice blend with milk and cream over sustained heat versus adding pre-heated water for an infusion. Be sure to strain the botanicals from your drink before sipping.
